Our Process
A client-centered process for better results
We know that big remodels can be both exciting and stressful. At Springs Home Improvement, we have perfected our process with our clients in mind to create a seamless and less stressful experience. We will walk with you step-by-step with open and honest communication — no matter the size or scale of your remodel.
Remodeling has a lot of moving parts, but we are committed to giving you our very best every day and delivering a product that you will love and cherish for years to come. Here is an overview about how the Springs Home Improvement process works for you.
We understand that, for most folks, reputation and budget are the two preliminary concerns in choosing a company. We pride ourselves on our reputation. It may be the reason you’re reading this in the first place! To help determine if we are a good fit for you, we offer an initial phone consultation to discuss your remodel and answer any initial questions you may have. This call may lead to an In-Home Consultation to get to know each other better and gather more specifics about your vision and budget for your project. During the Home Consultation, we will provide some initial project ideas, review our Design Process, and provide you with a Professional Services Agreement (PSA).
This step is where our Design-Build Process begins, ensuring all design decisions will be implemented through the construction phase. On the approval of your PSA, we dive deeper into a thorough understanding of your vision and a corresponding budget. We will work with you to create a preliminary scope of work, take measurements, start designing the space, and make product selections for your remodel. When we have all the possibilities defined, you will be in a better place to make final decisions that meet your vision and budget. We will then schedule a presentation meeting with renderings, product descriptions, and full scope of work, including a fixed bid Construction Agreement for your remodel.
When you are ready to move forward with your remodel, you will approve the project via a Construction Agreement. We will begin ordering materials and confirming delivery dates. Once availability dates are firm, we will consult with you on a good start date, along with the anticipated project duration.
With a confirmed schedule, the first step will be a pre-construction meeting just before or on the day we commence work to ensure everyone is on the same page. In this meeting, we will review the scope of work, discuss access options, any parking or neighborhood concerns etc. You will be introduced to your Project Manager who will be your primary point of contact throughout the Build Process.
This is usually everyone’s favorite part of the process. As we near completion, we will meticulously inspect our work to ensure every detail of your remodel abides by our quality standards and the approved design. We will meet with you to answer questions and make sure you’re completely satisfied with your remodel. After we’ve covered everything, we’ll pack up and be on our way, leaving you with the remodel you’ve dreamed of!
