The design process may take between a few weeks or a few months to collaborate with one of our designers to make the decisions needed to provide you with a Construction Agreement. We will use the final design to create an detailed Construction Agreement for the work. A Contract is typically ready within 2 to 8 weeks.

For the Design Agreement you are invoiced at signing. For the Construction Agreement you are invoiced 40% at signing, 30% at mid-point of the build process, and the final 30% after all work has been completed and you are happy. For Change Orders typically you are invoiced upon approval.

remodel takes 1-2 months and kitchens take 2-3 months.

The short answer? It depends. Costs can vary based on the finishings and appliances you’ve selected, as well as the scope of your remodel. In addition, our design-build approach means that we charge a reasonable design fee as well.

The long answer? Kitchens may cost between 20-25% of your home’s current value. Bathrooms may be between 10 and 15%. For whole home remodels, it depends on the square footage of your home. If you want the most accurate numbers possible, please contact us.

We will begin work shortly after the contract is signed and permits are ready (if required). Our workload varies seasonally, but average start times fall between 2 and 6 weeks from the signed contract date.

Your project manager will communicate with you directly and through your client portal about when to expect workers at your home. In most cases we do not require you to be present, with your approval we will provide secure access and locking up when you are not at home.

The design process is a great time to change your mind. The process is a collaboration with your designer, and we will work with you around any needed changes to create a final design.
