No, we specialize in a full-service design-build remodeling approach because we believe it ensures the highest quality results. Separating the design and build phases can lead to inefficiencies and challenges. By handling both, we create a seamless home remodeling experience, ensuring your vision is executed flawlessly.
The design phase typically takes anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the project’s complexity and your decision-making process. Once the final design is approved, we prepare a detailed Construction Agreement.
The Design Agreement requires payment upon signing. For the Construction Agreement, payments are structured as follows: 40% is due at signing, 30% at the mid-point of construction, and the remaining 30% upon project completion and your satisfaction. Any approved changes during construction will be invoiced separately as change orders.
Project timelines vary depending on the scope of work. Bathroom remodels typically take 1 to 2 months, while kitchen remodels generally require 2 to 3 months. Whole home renovations depend on the size and complexity of the project, with timelines varying accordingly.
The cost of a remodel depends on factors such as project scope, materials, and design choices. On average, kitchen remodeling costs range from 20-25% of your home’s current value, while bathroom remodeling typically falls between 10-15%. Whole-home renovations vary based on square footage and specific upgrades. For a personalized estimate tailored to your project, contact us today.
Start dates depend on our workload and permit approvals (if required). On average, most projects begin 2 to 6 weeks after signing the contract.
Your dedicated project manager will develop a comprehensive plan to ensure the best protection for your home during your kitchen remodeling, bathroom renovation, or home improvement project. This may include floor protection, carpet masking, plastic walls, temporary access doors, and HEPA air filtering systems to maintain a clean and safe environment. We ask homeowners to remove personal items and furniture from the immediate work zone to prevent any damage. Your project manager will provide regular updates through direct communication and your client portal, keeping you informed about when to expect our professional remodeling contractors at your home. In most cases, your presence is not required—with your approval, we will ensure secure access, proper locking procedures, and a seamless workflow while you’re away.
Absolutely! The design phase is the best time to refine your vision. If you need to make changes during construction, we will issue a change order with revised costs and timelines for approval. The earlier changes are made, the smoother the process.
Yes, we manage all necessary permits and schedule inspections to ensure your project complies with local building codes and regulations.
No, you do not need to be present. With your approval, our team will have secure access and ensure proper lock-up when you’re away. Your project manager will keep you updated throughout the process.

What Our Clients Say
Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am on my second or third project with Springs Home Improvement and like my neighbor from now on I will not use anyone else to work on my house except Springs Home Improvement. They give good estimates and their workmanship is second to none!!!Posted on Donald HatchTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend the Springs Home Improvement Team. Amber, Scott, Matt x2, Eric, and Nathan were all professional and outperformed our expectations. Although our job was on the smaller side we never felt any less attention was paid. They addressed our issues and concerns promptly and also took the time themselves to point out minor issues that we certainly would have missed. I would give 10 stars if I could. Thanks again!Posted on John HartTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Springs Home Improvement helped us with a master bathroom and bedroom remodel. We have recently completed our third project with Chuck Farrington and his band of craftsmen and women at Springs Home Improvement. Previous projects were a half bath, and a full basement remodel including new plumbing. Our newest project was a full kitchen makeover. There is a reason we've had SHI back for the third time - excellence. From Chuck's over-all administration, through his design team, to his on-site craftsmen and amazing project oversight (Scott), to his subcontractors.....excellence. Snags...yes. Unforeseen complications...yes. Remodel setbacks...yes. All handled with care and competence by his talented team. To a person, we felt that each craftsperson went over and above to make our project successful. We've grown fond of his veteran team members (Amber, Matt, and Rich), and we love our new kitchen! It's easy to recommend, without reservation, SHI to the prospective customer, which we do. Since they've upgraded all of our original living spaces needing it we may not need their services again, soon...unless, of course, we tackle an ADU in our large back yard. 😉Posted on RonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently hired Springs Home Improvement to do our master bathroom remodel. We could not be happier with the whole project and the end product. Lexi, Amber and Scott were able to design a beautiful and functional new space that met all of our objectives and within our budget. The project went really smoothly and we had a great experience with their whole team and all of the subs. Matt J, Matt F, Rich, Erik and Scott were great to work with and went above and beyond when needed. Matt Fell even helped me look for one of my dogs who had gotten loose in the neighborhood one day. Our new bathroom has exceeded our expectations! We would definitely hire Springs Home Improvement again for another remodel project!!Posted on Paula AmsdenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our project was a bath renovation and addition of a shower in the basement utility room with a mash up of plumbing, dated flooring and a half bath tucked under the stairs. It was not a small undertaking requiring reworking the main sewer line in the floor and other challenges. After several widely differing bids based on our detailed wish list and no detailed floor plan or visualization of the finished project, we opted to go with a design/build company. The cost was in divided into 2 parts. The cost of the design and floor plan and subsequent to that if we decided to have SHI do the construction based on their bid, the design cost would be deducted from the overall cost. The design completely changed the layout and for the better. All subs visited the project and offered recommendations. What emerged was the most efficient use of space available and CAD generated views of the finished project. We bought the whole package. And never looked back. There will always be bumps in any renovation but these were handled collaboratively and efficiently. The crew from Lexi in design, Matt and Scott in production management, and all the subcontractors were simply the best. They became family, which is kinda important when you embark on a project of this scope. The now finished project is everything we hoped it would be. If you are contemplating a remodel you cannot make a better choice.Posted on Bud Baker
