The SHI Design Team was asked to take our clients kitchen from outdated and unfunctional to modern and usable but in a way that that still fit in with the rest of the home. In the design of this kitchen, we were able to maintain and completely refresh the clients existing flagstone flooring and beautifully combine it with new rift sawn oak-stained custom cabinetry. The cabinetry stain selected perfectly complements the other wood features in the home. Additionally, we selected a quartzite counter with waterfall ends to make the island a stunning feature of the kitchen. With the use of gunmetal accents in the faucet, cabinet hardware and lighting we seamlessly tied all the impeccable design selections together to produce a kitchen which shines! Interior accessories in the cabinets enhances functionality in the kitchen and a new much larger window brings in an abundance of natural light and unparalleled views. This kitchen design encompasses the use of many natural elements yet has a modern aesthetic!
