This kitchen remodel took the dated cabinets, unfunctional marble counter tops, small island and wall blocking an open concept design out of the picture. In this project we salvaged the existing floors, opened the wall between the large family room and kitchen, installed hand crafted custom-made painted cabinets in a white and blue two-toned design, update the range hood and replaced the inoperable window above the kitchen sink. The new cabinets included multiple interior accessories for ease of use and functionality, furniture base trim at the island, large crown molding, and decorative door features around the island to give it a furniture feel. We were able to expand the island and add seating for functions and gatherings. As a part of this remodel, we also greatly enhanced the lighting throughout the kitchen and living room, giving our clients copious options to ambient and functional lighting. Within the scope of this project was also a creative re-allocation of space to a small mudroom upon entry of the home.
Utilizing the same custom cabinetry and design aesthetic we transformed an unused laundry space into mudroom storage. The flow from the home’s entry has been greatly transformed and eludes high end design from the marble inspired quartz counters to the blue elongated picket backsplash in the beverage area. A dream kitchen, both functional and beautiful.
